Movement and Mindfulness
To complement the development of the whole child, students participate in regular movement and mindfulness sessions where they learn to develop body awareness, manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement, build concentration. Increase confidence and positive self-image.
Mindfulness encourages us to slow down, focus on the present and accept things as they are.
When we do this, we are less distracted by thoughts of the future and the past, which can often make us worry and stop us from enjoying the present moment.
